Krista Frank, DC
Over the past few years I have lived in several different places. I grew up in a small town in Ohio, went to Pennsylvania to get my bachelors degree in biology from Slippery Rock University, moved to Georgia where I continued my education at Life University to obtain my doctorate of chiropractic, and finally have made Virginia Beach my new home as of March 2019. Yoga has been a constant for me throughout all of these transitions.
I was a competitive dancer throughout my whole life and as I went off to college I changed paths and took up yoga. Through studying to become a chiropractor and getting my YTT certification I was really able to dive into the understanding of the connection of the mind and body – which is truly a beautiful thing. I specialize in pediatrics and prenatal care at my chiropractic office and find enjoyment in teaching these classes in addition to vinyasa, restorative and yin style practices. Practicing yoga has transformed my life and I promise to bring a positive and fun energy to every class I teach. I am dedicated to creating a nurturing and safe environment for students to support inward focus and exploration of the body, mind and spirit for yogis of all levels.
