Asians have a great deal of respect for teas. they serve it with every meal to help facilitate digestion. {Digestive Fire}
It is also served to guests as a warm welcoming beverage. The tea plant, Camellia sinensis, is a beautiful evergreen native to Southeast Asia. It is grown mostly in China, India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Japan. It grows best in the mountains, far above sea level, where the days are sunny, the nights rainy and the air clean and fresh.
